AI & Business Systems Specialist (UK-based)

Position: AI & Business Systems Specialist
Salary: $7-9/hr (depends on experience)
Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Working Hours: TBD, within UK business hours

We are looking for someone who is excited about AI tools, business systems, and problem solving. This role will support both our AI development projects and our Odoo system operations.

You will work closely with the leadership team to help improve workflows, organize business knowledge, and support the development of AI-powered systems that assist the business over time.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys learning new technology, finding solutions independently, and helping improve systems step by step.

What you will be doing:

- Support and improve the company’s business systems using Odoo Studio
- Research and test AI tools and solutions
- Help build and improve Claude skills and AI agents, make sure AI information is updated
- Organize and maintain centralized business knowledge and documentation
- Assist with workflow automation using tools like ---------- or Zapier
- Identify system issues, troubleshoot problems, and help improve processes
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team on AI and operational projects
- Support long-term AI roadmap initiatives across the business
- Perform other AI and business systems improvement-related tasks as instructed

Our roadmap

We are currently building and improving several systems across the business, including:

- Creating a centralized business knowledge base on GitHub to organize information currently spread across different platforms.
- Building Claude skills and AI agents that can use this business knowledge to assist the team.
- Gradually improving these AI systems from simple assistants into more advanced and semi-autonomous systems over time.
- Exploring how different AI systems and workflows can work together efficiently while managing risks and improving reliability.

You will play an important role in helping us research, test, maintain, and improve these systems as they grow.

Must-have qualifications

- Demonstrated professional experience using Claude — must be able to describe specific use cases, what you used it for, how you prompted it, and what you’ve learned. We're more interested in considered, real-world use than self-rated proficiency.
- Tech savvy and has strong interest in AI tools and emerging technology
- Proficient working with business systems, automations, and workflows
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and independently
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically
- Willingness to experiment, learn, and improve processes over time

Desirable Qualifications (Not required, but a big plus)

- Direct experience using Odoo or Odoo Studio
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as ---------- or Zapier
- Experience organizing documentation or business knowledge systems

Important notes

- Direct Odoo experience is highly preferred, but not required if you can demonstrate the ability to learn systems quickly.
- This role is not purely technical or coding-focused. We value practical thinking, curiosity, and problem solving more than deep engineering expertise.
- You will work closely with leadership and receive guidance, especially during the early stages of onboarding.
