Amazon SEO Monitoring VA — Clean + Kind
Reports to: Patrick, Co-Founder Hours: ~5 hrs/week baseline, ~10 hrs on checkpoint weeks Schedule: Monday mornings, fixed cadence Pay: [TBD] · hourly or per-week flat rate Location: Remote · timezone flexible
The role
Pull a small, fixed set of Amazon reports every Monday. Compare them to a baseline. Flag anything that's off. Send a short weekly summary. Once a quarter, help with a deeper re-audit.
This is a monitoring role, not a strategy role. The system is already built — a dashboard with twelve-week checkpoints, a competitor set held constant, and a documented rhythm. Your job is to run that rhythm reliably and surface signal.
What you'll do each Monday
1 Pull the Business Report (Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child ASIN, 7-day window) from Seller Central. ~5 minutes.
2 Capture the product page snapshot — BSR, review count, price — from Amazon.com for each tracked ASIN. ~2 minutes per product.
3 Log the numbers into the tracking spreadsheet against the baseline.
4 Send a short summary by 11 AM Monday: what moved, what didn't, anything that crossed a threshold flagged in red.
On checkpoint weeks (every 2-4 weeks)
5 Pull Cerebro keyword exports from Helium 10 — same eight competitors every time, the set is saved.
6 Run the indexing check at Day 7 — sixteen incognito Amazon searches per product, log pass/fail.
7 Compile the checkpoint summary against the targets in the dashboard.
Once a quarter
8 Support the Day 60 full re-audit — pull extended-window reports, prep the deliverable folder, organize raw data so Patrick can run the analysis.
Required
• Solid English, written. The weekly summary is the deliverable — clarity matters more than length.
• Comfortable inside Seller Central and Helium 10. If you've never used either, this isn't the role.
• Excel or Google Sheets fluent — you'll be filling templated tracking sheets, not building them.
• Reliable on a fixed schedule. Late Monday reports break the whole system.
• Attention to detail. Misreading a BSR number or pulling the wrong date range creates downstream noise that's hard to fix.
Nice to have
• Prior Amazon FBA / private label experience
• Familiarity with PPC reports (Sponsored Products, basic ACoS reading)
• Comfort with markdown / structured note formats
Not required
• SEO strategy — Patrick handles that
• Copywriting — the listings are already written
• Image work — not part of this role
How we'll measure you in the first 90 days
• Reports pulled on time, every week — Monday before 11 AM, zero misses
• Data accuracy — numbers logged match the source reports
• Threshold flagging — when something drops below the baseline alert level, it's surfaced same-day, not buried
• Tidy file organization — every export saved with the documented naming convention
