JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a skilled video editor who specializes in creating Facebook video ads SPECIFICALLY for the home improvement, renovation, and trades industries.

This is NOT a general video editing role. We specifically want someone with proven experience in these niches. Any video editor with no experience in this type of role will not be considered.

What we're looking for:

You must have an extensive, high-quality portfolio of Facebook ads or video ads created for trades and home improvement businesses (think renovations, builders, roofers, landscapers, plumbers, electricians, remodeling companies, and similar). This is the single most important requirement. If your portfolio doesn't show trade and home improvement video ads, this role isn't the right fit.

Beyond editing skill, we'd love to see:

- Marketing knowledge and a solid understanding of what makes a video ad actually convert, not just look good
- Results or performance data from ads you've edited (views, engagement, leads, conversions, ROAS, etc.) if you have them
- An eye for pacing, hooks, captions, and structure that holds attention in a Facebook feed

Other requirements:

- Fast turnaround. We need edits delivered within four days maximum. Speed and reliability are essential.
- Excellent English. You must read, write, and understand English well so that messaging, captions, and on-screen text in the videos make sense and land correctly with an English-speaking audience.
- Able to take direction, work to a brief, and handle revisions professionally.

This starts as project-based work, but for the right person there is a clear path to an ongoing part-time or full-time role.
