Compliance Administrator — Protection Advice Checks

We are a UK-based financial services firm looking for a meticulous compliance administrator to support our protection advice quality assurance process. You will be reviewing real client files and checking that our advisers meet FCA regulatory standards — accuracy and attention to detail are non-negotiable.

Before applying, please read carefully. This role has flexible hours — you manage your own schedule. However, you will need to be available for at least 2–3 hours overlap with UK afternoons (roughly 1pm–5pm GMT/BST) to contact advisers by email and WhatsApp.

What you will do
Review protection advice files for suitability, justification, and FCA compliance
Verify that advisers complete the full sales process — fact-find, needs analysis, product disclosure, and documentation
Check that Consumer Duty requirements are met, including vulnerable-customer considerations
Validate that all mandatory documents are present: SoA, IDD, disclosures, affordability checks, and replacement business evidence
Log all findings and scores accurately in our compliance system
Chase advisers for corrections via email and WhatsApp, and track remediation to completion
Identify recurring issues or process gaps and report them to the Compliance Manager
Maintain organised, audit-ready compliance records

What we are looking for
Strong attention to detail — you notice what others miss
Experience in compliance, quality assurance, document checking, or financial services administration
Comfortable cross-referencing documents and spotting inconsistencies
Reliable, self-managing, and meets deadlines without chasing
Confident written communicator in English
Available for 2–3 hours of UK afternoon overlap most weekdays

$3 / hr Month 1 — trial period
$4 / hr Month 2 onwards

Reviewed After 3–5 months based on performance
