About the role
We are a boutique Australian growth consultancy working with high-growth DTC ecommerce brands. We run Meta, TikTok and Google Ads at scale and need a talented Video Editor and Graphic Designer to join our remote team and own the creative production pipeline.
This is a part-time (with ability to work up to full-time), long-term offshore role for someone who lives and breathes paid social creative. You will be cutting short-form video ads, designing static and motion graphics, and using AI tools to move fast without sacrificing quality.

What you will be doing
Editing short-form video ads (UGC, EGC, founder content, advertorials, hybrid formats) for Meta, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Volume is high. We typically ship 30 to 60 net new ad variations per client per month.
Designing static ads, carousels, motion graphics, GIFs and animated text overlays.
Building variations at speed. One concept often becomes 8 to 12 variations testing different hooks, captions, CTAs, thumbnails and aspect ratios.
Using AI tools as part of your daily workflow. We expect you to be fluent in tools. If a new tool drops, we want you testing it that week.
Working from creative briefs we provide (hook, angle, format, persona, key talking points) and turning them into finished assets.
Resizing and reformatting for placement (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9).
Keeping our asset library, project files and version control clean and organised.
What we need from you
- At least 2 years of editing and design experience specifically for paid social ads on Meta and TikTok. Agency or in-house DTC experience preferred.
- A portfolio or reel showing paid ad work, not narrative film or wedding videos. We need to see hooks, pattern interrupts, captions, b-roll cuts, and performance-style creative.
- Fluency with AI tools in your workflow. Tell us which ones you use and how they have changed your output.
- Strong understanding of what makes a paid ad convert. You should be able to look at a brief and have a point of view, not just execute mechanically.
- Excellent written English and the ability to communicate clearly in Slack
- Fast turnaround capability. Most edits should be back within 24 to 48 hours.
- Reliable internet
Nice to have
- Experience with Shopify-based ecommerce brands.
- Familiarity with creative testing frameworks (angle, hook, format hierarchy).
- Basic copywriting ability for on-screen captions and hooks.
- Experience briefing or directing UGC creators.
