Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Audio Engineer to edit, record, and produce high-quality audio content. This role requires proficiency in Pro Tools or similar professional audio software and the ability to manage end-to-end audio workflows, including remote recording, editing, sound effects, and final mastering. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, a good ear for detail, and experience delivering clean, broadcast-ready audio.
Responsibilities
• Edit and clean audio recordings for clarity, consistency, and quality
• Record new audio remotely using professional standards and best practices
• Add, edit, and manage sound effects and background audio as needed
• Mix and master audio to meet distribution or platform requirements
• Troubleshoot audio issues such as noise, distortion, or level imbalance
• Organize and manage audio files, sessions, and assets
• Collaborate with producers, editors, and content creators to meet project goals
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high audio quality standards
Requirements
• Proficiency in Pro Tools or comparable audio software (Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, Reaper, etc.)
• Experience editing and producing professional-quality audio
• Ability to record audio remotely with proper mic technique and signal flow
• Strong understanding of audio levels, EQ, compression, and noise reduction
• Excellent attention to detail and sound quality
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred (Not Required)
• Experience with audiobooks, podcasts, or narration projects
• Familiarity with sound design and effects libraries
• Basic knowledge of audio delivery specifications for digital platforms
• Experience working remotely with distributed teams
