Grid Analyst

Job Description:
We are developing solar + battery (BESS) projects in the Philippines and are looking for a smart, reliable researcher to support market analysis, grid screening, and outreach to distribution utilities. Perform outreach to distribution utilities and NGCP via email and LinkedIn is an important part of the job.
This is a long-term opportunity for the right person.

Responsibilities:
Research distribution utilities and NGCP grid across the Philippines where we can provide commercially attractive solutions for solving grid issues such as
- power shortages
- high electricity costs
- reliability issues
Find substations and possible connection points (including National Grid Corporation of the Philippines and local utilities.
Conduct basic solar project screening (desktop research)
Possibly do basic solar and BESS design

Requirements:
Strong research and analytical skills
Outgoing
Good English (written)
Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets
Ability to work independently
Nice to have:
Engineering / energy background
GIS or mapping experience

Work setup:
Remote
20–40 hours per week
Flexible working hours

Salary:
PHP 20,000-30,000 /month (depending on experience) + performance bonus
