We are 7 Figure is looking for a D2C Supplement Brand Video Editor looking to join our team! As our video editing specialist, you will be responsible for editing high-converting UGC ads, direct response video creatives,VSL’s and psychology-based video content to be used across paid marketing channels (primarily Meta).
We are looking to hire someone with 1.5+ years of ecommerce work experience. The ideal candidate has prior experience editing paid advertisements specifically for Meta Platforms, UGC content,VSL’s direct response marketing & bonus points if experience with supplement/health brands.
Key Objectives:
-Edit 1-15 high-converting video ads per week from raw UGC footage and stock content
-Transform raw creator footage into polished, direct response ads optimized for Meta platforms
-Drive measurable improvements in core advertising metrics (CTR, Hook Rate, Hold Rate) through superior editing
-Create multiple variations and iterations of winning ad concepts quickly
-Use data from creative performance on Meta to analyze what editing techniques, hooks, and structures are driving results
-Work with our creative strategist to bring scripts and concepts to life through compelling editing
-Maintain organized asset libraries and editing workflows for maximum efficiency
-Provide quick turnaround times on revisions and new edits to support rapid testing cycles
Requirements:
-Fully remote
-Fluent in English
-Direct Response Editing Expertise: 1.5+ Years experience editing performance creative for DTC brands or working at a creative agency is a must
-Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects or CapCut, Heygen, Veo 3, Higgfield is a must and familiarity with DaVinci Resolve. Mobile editing experience (CapCut mobile) is a plus
-UGC Editing: Extensive experience editing raw UGC footage into high-converting paid ads with native platform aesthetics
-Fast & Efficient: Ability to produce high-quality edits quickly without sacrificing performance. Speed is critical
-Creative & Data-Driven: Understanding of what makes ads perform (hooks, pacing, captions, sound design, effects) and ability to analyze performance data to inform editing decisions
-Portfolio Required: Must provide portfolio showcasing DTC video ads (preferably supplements, health, or e-commerce)
-No issue working overtime or on the weekends if needed. You wouldn't know what to do with your free time if you were working less. You are passionate about your work

Accountabilities:
-Edit 10-20 video ads per week from provided scripts, raw footage, and assets
-Create multiple variations of winning ads (different hooks, text overlays, pacing)
-Add compelling captions, text overlays, sound effects, and visual effects that enhance performance
-Maintain consistent turnaround times (24-48 hours for standard edits, same-day for urgent)
-Organize and manage all video assets, footage libraries, and project files
-Collaborate with creative strategist to understand video concepts and execute the vision
Source and integrate b-roll, stock footage, and motion graphics as needed
-Adapt editing style to emerging trends and platform best practices
-Review performance data on edited ads and identify patterns in what's working
-Iterate quickly on underperforming ads and create new versions based on data insights
-Create editing templates and systems to increase output efficiency
-Maintain brand consistency across all video content while optimizing for performance

When hiring, we'll work with you to define the KPIs you'll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around wondering if you're doing a good job after you start.
Initial soft interview, then a technical interview + test project (edit 2-3 ads from provided footage), and a final interview to ensure culture fit. We plan to hire within ~8 - 10 days of conducting these interviews. We pride ourselves on timely responses and updates for applicants.
