Full-Time - Video Editor Assistant (Philippines) – 40 hours per week. $800 USD per month plus bonus (Virtual/Online Work

Job Description:

We are a fast-growing content creation brand looking for a skilled and reliable Video Editor Assistant based in the Philippines to join our team full-time.

You’ll be turning raw footage + simple prompts into polished, engaging short-form and long-form videos for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

Responsibilities:
Edit 3 - 20 minutes short-form/long form content daily
Follow detailed prompts/style guides (we provide the vision, you bring it to life)
Create thumbnails and simple graphics in Canva for every video
Add captions, sound effects, transitions, simple motion graphics, stock footage, etc.
Deliver clean, export-ready files + Canva thumbnails on deadline

Required Skills & Tools:
Expert in Descript (must know Overdub, filler word removal, studio sound, etc.)
Expert in CapCut (PC or mobile – both okay)
Expert in Canva (YouTube thumbnails, Reels covers, and simple animated graphics)
Bonus if you also know Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and what performs well on social platforms (tiktok, Reels, Shorts)
Fast and reliable internet + backup power/internet
Excellent English communication (written & spoken)

Requirements:
Fast internet connection downloading/uploading videos
Fast working computer for editing
Available full-time (40 hours per week, Manila (Philippines) time from 8am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch. M-F
Can start immediately or within 1–2 weeks
Portfolio required: short form + long form samples + Canva thumbnails (YouTube/TikTok/Reels links preferred)


Compensation:

$800 USD per month plus bonus depending on speed, quality, and result
Paid bi-weekly via Xoom, Wise, PayPal, or Payoneer
Long-term position with potential raises and bonuses for hitting key performance indicator
