We are a high-end U.S.-based professional services firm with multiple offices and a brand that doesn't look like our industry. Our visual identity is elevated, intentional, and instantly recognizable — and we're looking for a designer who can protect and extend that standard across every social post, story, reel cover, carousel, and graphic that goes out the door.
What you'll do
Design and manage social media content across our platforms — primarily Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and
Most of the work can be batched and scheduled in advance on your own time. But the news cycle, case results, and firm announcements don't always wait — you need to be reachable during U.S. business hours for same-day turnarounds when something comes up.
What we expect
Pixel-perfect execution within our brand system. We have detailed guidelines — fonts, colors, spacing, photo treatment, logo usage, tone. You will follow them. If something doesn't fit the system, we'd rather not post it.
Speed without sloppiness. Hourly means we're paying for output, not hours sitting at a desk. Strong candidates will deliver fast and clean.
A real eye. You should be able to look at two near-identical layouts and instantly know which one is better — and why. Kerning, hierarchy, contrast, balance. The details matter.
Ownership. You catch your own typos. You don't ship low-res exports. You don't need three rounds of feedback to land a layout.
Tools and AI
Use whatever tools you want — Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, After Effects, CapCut, whatever produces the result. AI use is encouraged. Midjourney, Sora, Runway, ChatGPT, Claude, Nano Banana, whatever helps you move faster. We don't care how the sausage gets made. We care that the final product is flawless and on-brand.
You're probably a fit if
You have a portfolio that shows range and restraint — not just maximalist showpieces, but disciplined work inside a defined brand system.
You've run social for a brand that took its visual identity seriously (luxury, hospitality, fashion, high-end professional services, etc.).
You're responsive, organized, and comfortable working hourly with clear deliverables.
You're probably not a fit if
You think "good enough" is good enough.
You need heavy art direction on every asset.
You bristle at brand guidelines or want to do your own thing.
You can't be reached outside scheduled hours when something urgent comes up.

How to apply
Read this section carefully. Following directions is the first test.
Start your application with the word ORCHID as the first word of your message. Applications that do not begin with ORCHID will
not be read. This is intentional — it tells us you actually read the post.
Then send all of the following:
A short write-up (1 paragraph) on your favorite AI tool for design and exactly how you use it in your workflow. Be specific — we want to understand how you actually work, not a product description.
Your favorite prompt that you currently use (image, video, or copy — whatever you reach for most). Paste it in full.
A short video (2–3 minutes, unlisted YouTube or Loom link) showing your face and telling us why you'd be a good fit. We want to see your communication, your energy, and your English. Phone-recorded is fine — production value isn't the point, you are.
Also include a link to your portfolio and your hourly rate in USD.
Applications missing the keyword, the portfolio link, the rate, or any of the three items above will not be reviewed.
