Job Description:

We are looking for a full-time virtual employee who can help us build and improve the Build Pro Portal.

Build Pro helps contractors and trade business owners organize, systemize, and grow their businesses. We are building a custom portal that will include business tracking, scorecards, weekly planning, financial dashboards, hiring tools, AI recommendations, and training resources.

This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable using AI tools, no-code tools, low-code tools, and “vibe coding” workflows to build fast, test ideas, solve problems, and help turn business ideas into working software.

You do not need to be a senior developer.

You do need to be smart, resourceful, detail-oriented, and willing to learn quickly.

What You Will Help Build

You will help us create and improve tools inside the Build Pro Portal, including:

Light version of ----------

This will include:

Company goals
Rocks or priorities
Scorecards
Weekly meetings
Task tracking
Accountability tools
Business dashboards
QuickBooks Integration

This will help contractors pull in financial data and understand:

Revenue
Gross profit
Expenses
Cash flow
Job costing
Financial trends
Simple business health reports
Build Pro AI

This AI tool will help contractors make better decisions by reading their data and combining it with Build Pro’s training content.

The goal is for the AI to:

Review company numbers
Spot problems
Give recommendations
Suggest next steps
Use our internal knowledge blocks
Help owners make better decisions faster
Hiring Portal

This will help contractors with:

Job postings
Role descriptions
Candidate tracking
Interview questions
Hiring scorecards
Onboarding tools
Future Tools

We will continue adding more features, including operations tools, sales tools, estimating tools, training tools, and other contractor business resources.

Responsibilities

Your main job will be to help us build, test, improve, and maintain the Build Pro Portal.

This may include:

Using AI coding tools to build app features
Creating simple front-end pages and dashboards
Connecting APIs and third-party tools
Helping integrate QuickBooks
Building workflows and automations
Creating internal admin tools
Testing features for bugs
Improving user experience
Documenting how tools work
Researching solutions when stuck
Turning rough ideas into working prototypes
Working with our team to improve the platform over time
