The Role:
We are hiring one full-time Virtual Legal Assistant to support our litigation team long-term. You will work directly with our US-based paralegal and attorneys to keep cases moving — drafting first versions of discovery responses and demand letters from our templates, organizing medical records, managing files in CloudLex, operating Eve Legal AI, calendaring deadlines, and handling client logistics (scheduling, status updates).
You will NOT be giving legal advice or making strategy calls — that's our attorneys' job. You will be the operational backbone of our litigation files.

Compensation and structure:
$12–$16 per hour USD based on experience and skill set
Paid 2x a month via Gusto
Quarterly performance bonus based on clearly defined KPIs
Annual rate review based on performance
Long-term independent contractor engagement

Schedule:
40 hours per week
Monday through Friday
US Pacific Time business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PT (11:00 PM to 8:00 AM Manila Time)

What we expect from you:
3+ years supporting a US law firm (personal injury strongly preferred)
Excellent written and spoken English — your writing reaches US attorneys, opposing counsel, and clients
Experience with US case management software: CloudLex strongly preferred; CasePeer, MyCase, or Filevine acceptable
Comfort with legal AI tools and willingness to learn EveAI quickly
Strong attention to detail and the discipline to follow templates and SOPs precisely
Reliable internet (50+ Mbps), backup power, quiet workspace, working computer with webcam
A track record of staying with employers long-term — we are not hiring for a year, we are hiring for the next five
