We have been in business for over 10 years and have built a small, capable, remote team that supports the business across customer service, operations, marketing, graphic design, and software engineering.
Our team is primarily based in the Philippines, and we take a lot of pride in the people we work with. We are a small, close team of high-quality workers who care about doing excellent work, taking ownership, and supporting each other as the company grows.
We are seeing a major shift in how customers discover us. A growing share of customers are hearing about Hamuq through LLMs and AI tools like ChatGPT, alongside traditional Google search. We believe this creates a major opportunity for brands that understand how to build visibility across SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI-driven discovery.
We are looking for someone who is excited about where search is going, not just where it has been.
**Role Overview**
We are hiring a full-time SEO / AEO / GEO Growth Specialist to help Hamuq grow organic visibility, traffic, and revenue across:
* Traditional organic search
* Answer Engine Optimization
* Generative Engine Optimization
* AI-driven discovery surfaces, including LLMs and conversational search tools
* Programmatic SEO and scalable content systems
This role is not just about manually writing blog posts or optimizing a few pages. We want someone who can help us build scalable systems, workflows, and processes that allow us to do more with less.
The ideal person understands SEO deeply, but is also highly curious and excited about AI tools, automation, programmatic content, data-driven content creation, and building repeatable systems. You should be comfortable working with our automation engineer to create workflows that can eventually handle a large portion of the research, briefing, content creation, optimization, internal linking, publishing, monitoring, and reporting process.
Our goal is to eventually create systems that can do 80–90% of the repetitive SEO/AEO/GEO work, while keeping human strategy, judgment, quality control, and brand voice at the center.

You should be comfortable working independently, managing your own priorities, and pushing projects forward. We will support you, collaborate with you, and help you succeed, but we are looking for someone who does not need to be handheld. You are the expert here and we will rely on you.
You should also be genuinely excited about using AI tools to do more, move faster, and create better outcomes. We want someone who sees AI as leverage and is motivated to find smarter ways to work.
**What You’ll Do**
* Build and execute an organic growth strategy across SEO, AEO, and GEO
* Identify the highest-opportunity product, category, comparison, and content areas for organic growth
* Improve rankings for high-intent commercial and informational search terms
* Help Hamuq become more visible in AI-generated results and LLM-driven recommendations
* Develop programmatic SEO strategies for scalable landing pages, comparison pages, buying guides, FAQs, and other repeatable content formats, based on whatever your expertise and knowledge says is best
* Work with our automation engineer to design workflows that use AI and automation to speed up research, content briefs, content generation, optimization, internal linking, schema, reporting, and QA
* Build scalable systems for keyword research, competitor analysis, content clustering, page generation, and content refreshing
* Audit and improve site structure, internal linking, metadata, schema, content quality, and topical authority
* Create and prioritize content briefs for product pages, collection pages, comparison pages, guides, and FAQs
* Optimize content for both traditional search engines and AI/answer engines
* Develop strategies to increase brand mentions, citations, reviews, and authority signals that may influence LLM visibility
* Track performance across rankings, traffic, conversions, assisted revenue, and AI/LLM-driven discovery
* Continuously identify emerging opportunities as search behavior changes
**What We’re Looking For**
* Proven experience growing e-commerce brands through SEO or agency work in e-commerce
* Strong understanding of modern search, including how AI is changing discovery and buying behavior
* Deep knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, content strategy, internal linking, schema, and topical authority
* Strong understanding of AEO and GEO concepts, including how brands can improve visibility in AI-generated answers
* Experience or strong interest in programmatic SEO
* Comfort and excitement using AI tools to improve speed, scale, and output quality
* Ability to think in systems, workflows, templates, and repeatable processes
* Ability to work with technical or automation-focused tea
* Strong independent work ethic and high personal standards
* Ability to manage your own projects, priorities, and deadlines
* Experience using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog, and related SEO tools
* Ability to prioritize based on business value, not just traffic
* Strong analytical thinking and ability to connect SEO work to revenue outcomes
* Clear communicator who can turn strategy into execution
**Bonus If You Have**
* Experience with Shopify SEO
* Experience building or managing programmatic SEO projects
* Experience using AI tools for SEO workflows, content briefs, content optimization, internal linking, or reporting
* Experience with Airtable, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, APIs, CMS automation, or no-code/low-code workflows
* Experience in e-commerce, DTC, furniture, mattress, home, or sleep categories
* Experience improving visibility in AI search tools, LLM answer surfaces, and citation-based discovery
* Strong copy/content instincts for commercial landing pages and product-led SEO
* Experience building authority through digital PR, brand mentions, reviews, or off-site strategies
**Compensation & Growth**
We are open to both experienced candidates and high-potential candidates earlier in their career. Compensation will depend on experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability, with strong upside through performance bonuses, milestone bonuses, and yearly raises.
In addition to salary, we offer:
* Yearly performance bonus of up to **50% of your annual salary**
