Part-Time CapCut Editor (High-Volume Short-Form Content)

Hiring a part-time video editor for TikTok / Instagram Reels / short-form ad creatives.

You will be working directly with me to produce high-performing short-form content for multiple brands. This is a performance-driven role with room to grow into full-time work.

What You’ll Be Doing:
You will be creating short-form videos using CapCut only.

The editing process is straightforward, but speed, consistency, and attention to detail are critical.

Tasks include:

Cutting dead space in talking head videos
Adding text overlays, captions, and images
Applying dynamic edits (zoom, crop, reframing, pacing)
Creating B-roll videos from voiceovers and provided footage
Matching visuals to what is being said in the audio
Creating multiple variations of videos (especially hook variations)

Daily Output Expectations:
You will be expected to produce 5–10 videos per day, depending on the type of content.

This typically includes:

5–7 fully unique videos
3–5 hook variations (same core video, different first 5–10 seconds)

Example: One main video is edited once, then turned into multiple versions by swapping out the hook while keeping the body mostly the same.

Additional Skills (Highly Preferred):
Green screen editing (background removal/replacement)
Color correction and improving video quality (lighting, exposure, filters)
Ability to source relevant images, clips, and B-roll when not provided
Strong understanding of what performs well on TikTok / Reels
Ability to follow a concept and execute creatively without step-by-step instructions
Experience creating engaging hooks or testing variations

Output & Accountability:
Daily target: 5–10 videos depending on complexity
Weekly expectations will be agreed upon before starting
Must communicate in advance if deadlines cannot be met
Compensation is tied to consistency, output, and quality of work

Requirements:
Must be experienced with CapCut (this is required — not optional)
Must be able to share editable CapCut project files when needed
Strong attention to detail
Strong English comprehension
Reliable internet connection
Ability to work independently and with a team
Open to feedback and able to improve quickly
Available 3–4 hours per day (with potential for more)
Available 5–6 days per week
Able to receive payments through Wise
PH or similar time zone preferred

Application Task (Replication + Execution Test — 1 Hour Max)
To apply, complete the task below so I can evaluate your attention to detail and editing ability.

Important: This task is a replication test, not a creativity test.

Your goal is to recreate the reference video as close to 1:1 as possible.

This allows me to evaluate your technical skill, attention to detail, and ability to follow direction.

You must match:
Clip selection
Clip order
Timing and pacing
Cuts (no dead space)
Text overlays (same wording, placement, timing)
Overall structure and flow

STRICT RULES (READ CAREFULLY)
Failure to follow these will result in automatic rejection:

DO NOT change anything creatively
DO NOT add your own style
DO NOT add extra effects (zoom, pan, sound effects, etc.) unless they exist in the reference
DO NOT remove any clips that are used in the reference video
DO NOT change the order of clips or overlays
DO NOT leave dead space between clips
DO NOT substitute different visuals unless absolutely necessary

This is a test of your ability to execute precisely, not improve or redesign the video.

Attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions exactly
Clean cuts and pacing (no dead space)
Accuracy of overlays and timing
Overall match to the original video

Important (Read This Carefully)
This test is only for evaluation purposes.

In the actual role, you will not just be copying videos.

You will be expected to:
Create videos without a direct reference
Follow a concept or idea and execute it in this style
Maintain the same level of quality, pacing, and structure
Create multiple variations (especially hook variations)

So while this task tests replication, the role requires both:
Precision (replication)
Independent execution (creating in the same style without being shown every detail)

Submission Instructions:
Recreate the video in CapCut
Export the final video
Share a link to your video
(Optional but preferred) Share the CapCut project file

Final Note:
If you try to “make it better” instead of matching the reference, your application will be rejected.

Execute exactly when needed
And also apply that same level of quality independently
