THE ROLE

Our company is a U.S.-based managed IT and cybersecurity company. We help mid-sized businesses stay secure, compliant, and running. Our SEO team is growing and we need someone who can build the backlink authority to match our content.

You will own link acquisition end-to-end. Prospecting, outreach, follow-up, closing. Every link you build goes into a shared tracker. Every week you report the numbers. No one will be checking over your shoulder — but the numbers will speak for themselves.

WHAT YOUR WEEK LOOKS LIKE

- You start Monday by reviewing your pipeline. Anything stale gets cut or escalated.
- You send 50+ personalized outreach emails before end of day.
- You identify new DR/DA 40+ targets in the IT, SaaS & Other relevant, space.
- You follow up on sequences already in motion.
- You close links. You log them. You move on to the next.
- Friday: you submit your weekly numbers. Links acquired. Volume sent. Reply rate. Pipeline count.

That's it. No BS. No fluff.

THE STANDARD

This is not a goal. This is the floor:

- Quality and Relevant links acquired per month
- 50+ personalized outreach emails per day
- 5%+ reply rate maintained consistently
- 20+ active prospects in the pipeline at all times
- Weekly report submitted, on time, with real numbers

If those numbers feel uncomfortable, this role will be stressful. If they feel easy, we want to talk.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF

- You have been doing link building specifically for at least 1 year — not general SEO, not content, not "digital marketing"
- You can show us links you personally acquired. Domain, DR, anchor, date. Right now, without preparing.
- You write outreach that sounds like a human wrote it, because you care about the reply more than the send volume
- You are self-managed. Your tracker is always updated. Your pipeline is never empty.
- You work well remotely and communicate proactively when something is off

YOU ARE NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF

- Your link building experience is mostly PBNs, directory submissions, or buying links
- You have never personally written and sent an outreach sequence from scratch
- You need someone to assign you prospects every day
- You think "I did some outreach" counts as a weekly report

After interview, you will complete a short test task using real WME context. It takes 2–3 hours. It is the most important part of this process. Details are sent after your application is reviewed.
