We’re not looking for someone who knows GoHighLevel. We’re looking for someone who owns it.
At Home Care Ops, our systems are the business. When a new program launches, a client signs up, or a payment processes — every one of those
The Automation Manager is a full-time, fully remote role. You report directly to the CEO. No one above you on the technical side — you run it. Your work determines whether our client experience is seamless or broken, whether our data is clean or chaotic, and whether the CEO can spend time on strategy or gets pulled back into system fires.
This is not a support role. This is ownership.
THE ROLE
You are the architect and primary owner of our entire GoHighLevel ecosystem. Every workflow, automation, integration, payment sequence, and communication flow — you built it, you validated it, and you maintain it.
When a new program is conceptualized, you take the CEO’s vision and turn it into a fully functioning automated reality — show/no-show sequences, onboarding flows, tagging logic, payment triggers — before launch day, not after.
The goal: the CEO never touches a system build again.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The majority of your time goes here:
- Architect, map, and build complex workflows and automations in GoHighLevel
- Design and deploy forms, surveys, landing page integrations, and communication templates
- Monitor active sequences, audit contact records for data hygiene, and manage payment processing integrations (Stripe)
- Document every process you build — clearly, repeatably, for future reference
You’ll also own:
- Weekly performance reporting on key automation metrics
- Proactive system pivots based on data — not waiting to be told what’s broken
- Cross-functional alignment with the Ops Manager, Experience Manager, and Web-Dev team
- Monthly strategic planning for upcoming program and event builds
- Quarterly system audits to identify simplification and innovation opportunities
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Hard requirements — if you don’t have these, this role is not for you:
- GoHighLevel Advanced proficiency — workflows, pipelines, sub-accounts, snapshots, triggers, and conditional logic. Not "familiar with." You build and own it.
- Web & Systems - Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and Webhooks.
- Scripting - Python or equivalent for custom integrations.
- Deliverability - DNS, domain mapping, and
- Payments - System integration experience — payment processing, failed payment sequences, subscription management.
- English - Advanced and comfortable with written and verbal English. You communicate directly with the CEO and cross-functional team.
Mindset requirements — non-negotiable:
- You think in systems, not tasks — you see second and third-order consequences before you build
- You test everything ruthlessly before calling it done
- When something breaks, you own it — you don’t wait for someone to notice
- You document as you go, not as an afterthought
- When you think the CEO is wrong, you say so — clearly and specifically
