JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Licensed CPA with strong Australian taxation expertise to support our growing client base. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards, along with a commitment to delivering work at the highest professional standard in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards.
• Manage end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes with exceptional accuracy.
• Handle Australian tax compliance, including BAS, IAS, income tax returns, and other lodgements.
• Ensure full compliance with ATO requirements, deadlines, and regulatory obligations.
• Provide high-quality financial analysis and strategic insights to support client decision-making.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Maintain robust internal controls and uphold best-practice accounting standards.
• Liaise professionally with Australian clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Candidate Profile
• CPA qualified with a current and valid Australian CPA license (or equivalent recognized in Australia).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting with a strong focus on Australian taxation.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian tax legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to deliver work to the highest standards of accuracy, integrity, and professionalism.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.

This is a fully remote role requiring a reliable work setup, strong time management, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed team while supporting Australian clients
