JOB OVERVIEW

QS4NZ / QS4AU ( ---------- | ---------- ) is a New Zealand-based platform that helps skilled construction and engineering workers from around the world understand how to live and work in New Zealand and Australia. We produce guides, tools, calculators, and CV services for migrants preparing to make that move.

We have a free booklet — Working and Living in New Zealand and Australia 2026 — that covers salary data, job market overviews, visa pathway summaries, cost of living comparisons, workplace culture, and settlement guidance. It is genuinely useful, professionally produced, and completely free. Your job is to get it into the hands of the people who need it.

WHAT THE JOB IS

This is a community and relationship role, not a technical one. We want someone who understands how Facebook groups work, knows the culture of OFW and expat communities, and can operate naturally and authentically inside those spaces — not as a spammer, but as a genuinely helpful presence.

Your main responsibilities:

- Research and join 25–40 relevant Facebook groups (OFW communities, expat groups, construction and trades groups, migration and relocation groups targeting NZ and AU)
- Spend the first 1–2 weeks simply engaging: answering questions, commenting helpfully, building a credible presence before introducing any booklet links
- Once established, share the free booklet link naturally in conversations where it is relevant and permitted
- Post in groups that allow resource sharing — and follow each group's rules carefully (no spamming, no hard selling)
- Answer questions about working in NZ or AU using knowledge from the booklet
- Keep a simple weekly log: groups joined, posts made, engagement received, links shared, any bans or warnings
- Flag any groups that are particularly active and responsive so we can prioritise them

---

TARGET GROUPS (we'll give you a starter list, you'll grow it)

- Filipinos in New Zealand / Filipinos in Australia
- OFW communities (general and construction-specific)
- South Africans in NZ / South Africans in Australia
- Indians working in Australia and New Zealand
- Pacific Islander communities in NZ (Samoan, Fijian, Tongan groups)
- "Moving to New Zealand" / "Moving to Australia" general groups
- Construction and trades expat groups
- Skilled migrant support groups

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential:
- Active Facebook user who genuinely understands how group culture works
- Strong written English — your comments and posts represent our brand
- Patient, relationship-focused mindset — this is slow and steady work, not quick wins
- Honest and transparent — you will always be clear that the booklet is from QS4NZ, never deceptive
- Organised — able to maintain a simple weekly activity log without being chased

Highly desirable:
- Personal connection to OFW or migration experiences (you understand the audience because you are or have been part of it)
- Familiarity with the NZ or Australian construction or trades industry
- Experience doing community management or group outreach work
- Knowledge of which specific groups are most active for our target audience

---

IMPORTANT: WHAT THIS JOB IS NOT

This is NOT a spamming role. We do not want someone who will mass-post links across hundreds of groups. That approach gets accounts banned and damages our reputation. We want someone who will build genuine credibility over time, engage authentically, and introduce the booklet in a natural, helpful way. Quality over quantity, always.

---

HOW TO APPLY

Please include in your application:
1. Your personal experience with Facebook groups — are you a member of any OFW, expat, or migration communities yourself?
2. Name two or three specific Facebook groups you would join first for this role and why
3. How would you introduce the free booklet in a group without sounding like a spammer? (A sentence or two showing your approach)
4. Your available hours and expected monthly rate

We are looking for someone with genuine community instincts, not just someone who can post links.
