We are looking for a long-term tea ---------- mber — not a freelancer jumping between projects.
Position Overview
We are hiring a Junior Bookkeeper to support Canadian bookkeeping and accounting workflows for our growing client base.
This is a fully remote role for someone based in the Philippines with prior experience supporting Canadian or North American clients.
You will work closely with our internal accounting team using standardized systems and workflows.

Responsibilities
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
Maintain bookkeeping files and supporting documentation
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with GST/HST and QST tracking
Review client source documents and receipts
Identify bookkeeping discrepancies and flag issues
Maintain organized working papers
Follow internal SOPs and workflow procedures
Update task statuses within Financial Cents
Assist senior accountants and reviewers with cleanup work
Requirements
Required
2+ years bookkeeping experience
Strong QuickBooks Online experience
Experience working with Canadian or North American clients
Good written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail
Reliable internet connection
Quiet remote workspace
Ability to work independently and follow systems
Strong Assets
Canadian GST/HST/QST experience
Experience with Dext or Hubdoc
Experience working in accounting firms
Experience with Financial Cents
Prior remote team experience
Accounting degree or bookkeeping certification
Work Schedule
Remote

Some overlap with North American business hours required
