We're a business acquisition and strategic advisory firm helping owners, operators, and buyers navigate acquisitions, exits, and operational transitions across government contracting, construction, and service-based industries. We're not educators first — we're operators who buy smart, build strong, and scale with strategy.
Alongside the advisory practice, we run a fast-growing content and education brand that teaches the next generation of entrepreneurs how to win government contracts, build acquirable businesses, and scale without breaking. It's where strategy meets the algorithm — and it's where this role lives.
We're hiring a Video Editor who can match that energy on screen.
YOUR ROLE:
You'll own the post-production pipeline for our content brand — primarily short-form (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok) plus long-form YouTube — with occasional polished pieces for the advisory side of the house. You'll take raw founder-led footage, interviews, B-roll, and event/webinar recordings, and turn it into content that stops scrolls, drives saves and shares, and converts viewers into clients and community members.
This is not a "drop in captions and call it done" role. We want an editor with taste, pacing instincts, and the ability to read a hook and know exactly how to land it.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO:
Edit 15–40 short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
Produce long-form YouTube videos with strong intros, retention-driven pacing, B-roll, and graphic overlays
Cut down podcasts, livestreams, and webinars into snackable clips and highlight reels
Design and animate on-screen text, captions, lower thirds, and motion graphics consistent with our visual identity
Source and integrate B-roll, stock, and sound design that elevates talking-head footage
Build and maintain a templates library (intros, outros, lower thirds, transitions) so output stays consistent and scales
-Collaborate with the social and marketing team on content calendars, hooks, and series formats
-Stay current on what's working on Reels, Shorts, and TikTok — and bring ideas to the table, not just execute briefs

-A portfolio of short-form work that has performed — share view counts, watch-through rates, or other metrics where you can
-Sharp instincts for hooks, pacing, and retention; you understand the first 3 seconds d
-Comfort working with the founder and talking-head footage and making it visually dynamic
-A real sense of typography, motion design, and brand consistency
-Ability to take feedback well and turn around revisions quickly
