AI Script Writer (PART TIME)

About the role:

We're hiring a part-time Script Writer to help power our AI video editing. Every morning, our creative director records a short Loom video sharing new content ideas, trends, and direction for our brand by 3:00AM PHT. Your job is to take those insights and turn them into polished, ready-to-shoot scripts, then plug those scripts into our team's Notion storyboards with annotations before 6:30AM PHT.

This is a writing-first role. If you can absorb ideas quickly, write prompts that get great output from Claude, and understand what makes short-form video ads actually work, this role was built for you.

Responsibilities

- Watch the daily 15-20 minute Loom video from our creative director
- Extract the key insights, ideas, and creative direction from the video
- Use those insights to prompt Claude to generate 6+ scripts tailored to our brand voice and content style
- Review and refine Claude's output to ensure it matches the direction from the Loom
- Input completed scripts into the team's Notion storyboards
- Add annotations to each storyboard based on the creative direction from the Loom
- Have everything completed and submitted by 6:30AM PHT daily

You're a fit if you:

- Write in clear, natural, fluent English
- Know how to prompt AI tools effectively — specifically Claude — to get strong creative output
- Can take raw, spoken ideas and translate them into tight, punchy scripts
- Understand what makes short-form video ads hook and convert
- Are detail-oriented ? scripts feed directly into our editor's workflow, so accuracy matters
- Communicate proactively if something comes up

- Loom (to receive daily creative direction)
- Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini (primary script generation tool)
- Notion (storyboards and script input)
- Google Drive (file management)

Pay

- $100 - $200 USD monthly base, depending on experience
- Up to 10% monthly performance bonus
- Minimum 5% salary increase after annual review for solid performers
- Real raises beyond that for exceptional work — we'd rather pay more and keep someone great than constantly rehire

Probation Period:
This role includes a **30-day probation period.** During this time, we'll assess output quality, reliability, and communication. Either party may end the arrangement with 3 days notice during probation. After 30 days, standard notice is 1 week.
