# Virtual Assistant for Children’s Author & Eco Brand
### Social Media, Website & Creative Content Assistant

Rate: $7.50 USD per hour
Type: Part-Time / Long-Term
Location: Remote (Philippines or India preferred)

I am a children’s author and independent publisher looking for a creative, reliable, and tech-savvy Virtual Assistant to help grow my online presence and support my children’s book brand.

This role is ideal for someone who is A.I. savy and enjoys both the creative and technical sides of online business. You will help maintain the warm, whimsical, and professional feel of my brand while also ensuring the backend systems and content stay organised and up to date.

I am looking for someone proactive, organised, visually creative, and able to communicate fluently in English.

This is a long-term position for the right person.

# Responsibilities

## Social Media Content
- Create engaging graphics using Canva (or similar tools)
- Design child-friendly, professional social media posts
- Create simple short-form videos/Reels/TikToks using book illustrations, animations, music, and captions
- Write captions that resonate with:
- parents
- teachers
- librarians
- homeschooling communities
- Schedule and organise content across social media platforms

## Website Maintenance
- Update website content and blog posts
- Upload images and optimise formatting
- Fix minor formatting/layout issues
- Check for broken links and errors
- Help maintain a clean and professional website experience

- Other

## Community Engagement
- Respond to comments and messages professionally
- Help engage with the Bookstagram and children’s book community
- Assist with audience growth and relationship-building

## Basic SEO & Organisation
- Optimise blog posts and images for search engines
- Use keywords and alt-text correctly
- Help organise digital files and recurring tasks
- Provide a brief weekly summary of completed work

# Required Skills

## Excellent English (Non-Negotiable)
You must have strong written English and be confident in writing captions, emails, and social media copy.

Please provide writing samples.

## Design & Creativity
- Strong Canva skills
- Good eye for clean, child-friendly layouts
- Understanding of branding and visual consistency

## Video Editing
- Ability to create simple, polished short-form video content
- Experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts preferred

## Technical Ability
- Comfortable using website backends and online tools
- Able to follow instructions and troubleshoot basic issues independently

## Reliability & Communication
- Must meet deadlines
- Must communicate clearly and honestly
- Must be organised and dependable

# Paid Trial Task
