JOB OVERVIEW

Jasmine Holidays is a specialist tailor-made tour operator based in the UK, creating bespoke travel experiences across Asia, Africa, the Indian Ocean, South America and selected worldwide destinations since 2007. We work with trusted DMCs and pride ourselves on accuracy, strong operational systems and long-term relationships.

THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced travel operations professional based in the Philippines to join our team in a newly created remote role. This is a behind-the-scenes operational role — not sales. You will support our UK-based consultants with booking administration, quality control, transport bookings and building digital itineraries in Wetu, with a primary focus on Asia — particularly Japan — alongside Africa, South America and other destinations.
You will be the person who catches errors before clients notice, keeps bookings clean and complete, and frees our consultants to focus on client relationships and destination expertise. We communicate openly, give clear briefs and respect your time. We are looking for someone who wants to build something with us long term.
Exceptional attention to detail and written English are more important to us than years of experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
— Check consultant bookings for accuracy and flag issues before they reach clients — Book internal flights, rail services and ferry connections — primarily across Asia including Japan, with some Africa and South America — Liaise with DMCs and suppliers to confirm arrangements — Build and format digital itineraries in Wetu to a high standard — Run pre-departure document checks against a standardised checklist — Support website content updates once established in the role

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
— Excellent written English — this is essential — High attention to detail — this role is about catching what others miss — Experience working with travel itineraries, bookings, or a tour operator or DMC — Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload — Experience booking internal flights or regional transport in Asia, particularly Japan or Southeast Asia — Wetu experience is a strong advantage but not essential — training provided — Familiarity with Zoho CRM or similar system is a plus — Reliable internet connection and quiet home working setup required

HOURS AND SALARY
$1,100 to $1,300 USD per month depending on experience 13th month payment in December — as required by Philippine law Monday to Friday — hours aligned to UK office hours with seasonal daylight saving adjustments No weekend work expected except in rare urgent situations Long-term role with 3-month probation, followed by a performance and salary review There is genuine long-term scope to grow within the operations side of the business for the right person

HOW TO APPLY
Send a covering note addressing BOTH of the following questions. Applications without a covering note addressing both questions will not be considered.
1. Describe your experience booking internal flights or regional transport in Asia — particularly Japan, Southeast Asia or the Indian Subcontinent. Which carriers, routes or booking systems have you used?
2. Describe a specific booking or itinerary error you personally identified before it reached the client — what was the error, how did you find it, and what did you do?
We aim to respond to all applications within five working days.
