We are hiring a long-term YouTube video editor for a faceless car comedy/commentary channel.?
The editing style is fast-paced,

This is not basic editing. We need someone who understands cars, internet humour, US/Western
Responsibilities:
* Edit 8 to 12 minute faceless YouTube videos from voiceover and script
* Source relevant clips,
* Add fast-paced visuals every 1 to 2 seconds
* Add on-screen captions, callouts, zooms, arrows, highlights, and
* Use funny reaction clips and
* Add sound effects, whooshes, impacts, zoom sounds, record scratches,
* Match the comedic timing of the voiceover
* Keep the video engaging from start to finish
* Organize project files properly by segment
* Deliver final exported videos ready for YouTube upload
Editing style required:
* Fast-paced YouTube retention editing
*
* Lots of visual variety
* Strong comedic timing
* US/Western humour and
* Clean subtitles and readable on-screen text
* Frequent zooms, cuts, reactions, and punchline visuals
* Similar feel to modern car commentary/comedy channels, not traditional automotive review videos
You must understand:
* Cars and car culture
* Car enthusiast humour
* US internet
* Western Gen Z / YouTube humour

* “Car guy” stereotypes
* Reaction
* TikTok/YouTube pacing
* How to make a video funny visually, not just cleanly edited
Important requirement:
You must be a car enthusiast or have strong knowledge of cars. The videos include car mods, car stereotypes, car brands, car culture jokes,
You will be given:
* Voiceover
* Script
* Thumbnail/title
* Editing notes
* General creative direction
You will be expected to:
* Find most of the visual assets yourself
* Edit the full video
* Add
* Make the video entertaining and high-retention
* Deliver project files if requested
