YouTube Video Editor for Car Comedy Channel

We are hiring a long-term YouTube video editor for a faceless car comedy/commentary channel.?

The editing style is fast-paced, ---------- -heavy, and built around car culture, funny commentary, reaction ---------- s, screenshots, captions, sound effects, and strong comedic timing.

For reference, please watch videos from Gassy on ---------- is the type of fast-paced car comedy/commentary editing style we are looking for.

This is not basic editing. We need someone who understands cars, internet humour, US/Western ---------- s, and YouTube retention editing.

Responsibilities:
* Edit 8 to 12 minute faceless YouTube videos from voiceover and script
* Source relevant clips, ---------- s, car photos, screenshots, GIFs, sound effects, and visual references
* Add fast-paced visuals every 1 to 2 seconds
* Add on-screen captions, callouts, zooms, arrows, highlights, and ---------- overlays
* Use funny reaction clips and ---------- s at the right ---------- nts
* Add sound effects, whooshes, impacts, zoom sounds, record scratches, ---------- sounds, and background music
* Match the comedic timing of the voiceover
* Keep the video engaging from start to finish
* Organize project files properly by segment
* Deliver final exported videos ready for YouTube upload

Editing style required:
* Fast-paced YouTube retention editing

* Strong comedic timing
* US/Western humour and ---------- understanding
* Clean subtitles and readable on-screen text

* How to make a video funny visually, not just cleanly edited

Important requirement:
You must be a car enthusiast or have strong knowledge of cars. The videos include car mods, car stereotypes, car brands, car culture jokes, Facebook Marketplace cars, mechanic humour, and car guy references. If you do not understand cars, it will be difficult to edit the videos properly.

You will be given:
* Voiceover
* Script
* Thumbnail/title
* Editing notes
* General creative direction

You will be expected to:
* Find most of the visual assets yourself
* Edit the full video
* Add ---------- s, captions, SFX, and music
* Make the video entertaining and high-retention
* Deliver project files if requested
