Designer / Thumbnail Artist for Social Media Agency (Long-Term, Part-Time to Full-Time)

We are a US-based video and social media agency hiring a long-term graphic designer to create thumbnails and social content for our client roster (real estate, hospitality, local services, and creators).

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- YouTube thumbnails that earn the click (bold faces, high contrast, clean type)
- Instagram carousels, static posts, and story graphics on-brand per client
- TikTok and Reels cover frames
- Reusable Figma or Canva templates so we can scale across clients
- Light retouching and background removal
- Occasional motion graphics in CapCut or After Effects (nice to have)

REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years designing specifically for social media
- A real portfolio with work you made yourself, not stock templates
- Strong typography. Sloppy kerning and weak hierarchy will get you rejected.
- Figma fluency. Photoshop is a plus.
- Reliable internet and 2 to 4 hours of overlap with US Pacific time
- Written English strong enough to read briefs, push back, and ask good questions

BONUS
- Prior US agency experience
- Motion design or short-form video editing
- Experience designing for coaches, restaurants, real estate, or local service brands

SCHEDULE
Start at 20 hours per week. Scales to 40 hours per week within 60 days based on output and reliability.

PAY
$5 per hour to start. $6 per hour after a 30-day review if quality is consistent. Paid weekly via Wise or PayPal.
