Loan (Mortgage) Processor & VA - Home Based Full Time

About You

You will have previous experience working in an Australian bank or mortgage broking business where you were responsible for either assessing or preparing mortgage applications. And most importantly you must have a passion for customer service, we treat our customer like family.

You will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to learn multiple systems and processes. You will be coming in at a time where you have the ability to help shape the loan process.
You will have excellent English both written and verbal as you will occasionally be required to call clients. You will also need a closed room with no ambient noise.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the back end of the loan process and providing assistance to loan writers. This will include:
Data entry into CRM systems Mercury and Active Campaign
Sending customers requests for documents
Verifying documents meet standard and contacting customer if any new documents are required
Preparing loan applications
Lodging loan applications to the lender and tracking progress to approval
Processing simple loan alterations
Posting content to Wordpress based website
Other VA tasks

We will be completing a full background, reference and criminal check on the successful applicant.

Sucessful applicants will be invited to a two stage interview process. The first interview will take approximately an hour and consist of a mixture of general and behavioural questions. For the behavioural questions I suggest referring to the 'STAR method'. Successful candidates from the first interview will be invited to the second interview will consist of a case study and take approximately one and a half hours. The successful applicant will then receive a conditional offer pending a reference and background check.

The role comes with five days sick leave and twenty days vacation leave per annum, you will also receive days off around Christmas, new years day and Easter. The full terms of employment will be outlined in the employment contract.
