Editor + Scriptwriter for political niche

I'm running a growing political commentary YouTube channel focused on the British conservative audience, and I need a dedicated tea ---------- mber to help me scale production.

The channel covers political interviews, parliamentary clashes, and television confrontations between political opponents.

This is not a corporate gig, it's a fast, opinion-driven production environment with clear creative direction and quick feedback loops.


What you'll be doing:

Source hunting — Finding the right interview, debate, or parliamentary clash to react to that fits our audience interest. This means scanning recent episodes of major UK political shows, parliamentary livestreams, and even other competitors in our niche. The goal is high emotional payload — confrontations, walkouts, gotcha questions, viral exchanges.

Clip selection and editing — Cutting the source material down to the strongest 8-13 minute reaction video. You'll identify the cold open hook, the supporting commentary, and the outro commentary.

I'll provide a cut-list for the first few videos so you can learn the rhythm, then take it over yourself.

Script and voiceover prep — Writing short voiceover bridges (15-30 seconds) that sit between clips to add political commentary, context, and emotional framing. These get turned into AI-generated voiceover provided by me (ElevenLabs). You won't be on camera or recording your own voice.

Title and thumbnail input — Suggesting punchy titles and thumbnail concepts that fit the channel's proven formula. I'll handle the final approval, but I want a creative partner here
