Real Estate Virtual Assistant and Marketing Assistant (Mailchimp)

Overview

We are a real estate business based in Central Virginia focused on helping investors find profitable deals.

Each week, we send a curated investor newsletter featuring properties with strong investment potential (fix & flips, rentals, undervalued opportunities).

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to:
- Source investment properties
- Organize and publish them in a Mailchimp newsletter
- This is a long-term role with clear systems, consistent weekly work, and lots of room to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Conduct an extensive search using:
- Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin
- Foreclosure/auction sites (Auction.com, etc.)
- Facebook groups and local sources

???? Goal: Find 5–7 strong investment opportunities per week

2. Organizing Data for Review
Pull key details:
- Price
- Location
- Property specs (beds, baths, sqft)
- Notes on condition/opportunity

???? Input into a simple spreadsheet or document (template provided)

3. Building a Marketing Newsletter in Mailchimp
Take selected properties and:
- Add them into a pre-built Mailchimp template
- Insert photos, links, and descriptions
- Format cleanly and consistently
- Write short, simple descriptions (2–4 sentences per property)
- Assist with subject lines and intro (optional, but a plus)

???? Goal: Deliver a clean, ready-to-send newsletter each week

What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional English Skills (clear and simple)
- Comfortable with online research
- Ability to follow systems and meet weekly deadlines
- Organized and reliable

Bonus (Not Required, But a Big Plus)
- Interest in real estate investing
- Experience using Mailchimp
- Familiarity with Zillow or property listings
- Basic understanding of what makes a “good deal”

Compensation
- This position will start at $5/hr
