Senior Long-Form YouTube Video Editor — 70,000–100,000 PHP/month

We’re looking for a senior long-form YouTube editor to join our remote video editing team full-time.

This role is mainly focused on editing talking-head, educational and expert-led YouTube videos for multiple clients. Most videos are between 10–30 minutes, and you’ll typically work across 2–3 core clients once settled into the team.

This is not a basic clipping role.

We need someone who understands how to make long-form YouTube content clear, engaging and easy to watch. You should have strong pacing, good storytelling instincts, excellent attention to detail, and a strong understanding of spoken English.

You’ll be working with briefs, client notes, scripts, b-roll, graphics, music and sound design to help shape videos that hold attention and feel polished.

What you’ll be editing:

Long-form YouTube videos, usually 10–30 minutes
Talking-head educational content
Podcast-style interviews when needed
Intro/hook sections
Occasional Shorts, Reels or social clips
Light motion graphics, captions, b-roll, music and sound design

This role is around 90% long-form YouTube editing, with occasional short-form work when needed.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an editor who can do more than just cut footage.

You should be able to:

- Improve pacing without making the edit feel rushed
- Understand what information matters and what can be cut
- Build strong openings/hooks for YouTube videos
- Use b-roll, graphics and text to support the story
- Keep edits clean, polished and professional
- Spot mistakes before the client does
- Follow a brief carefully
- Make good creative decisions without needing constant supervision
- Communicate clearly with the team
- Manage deadlines and work independently from home

Strong English comprehension is very important. You’ll be editing educational content, so you need to understand what the speaker is saying and make smart decisions based on the message.

Requirements

- Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos
- Strong portfolio of YouTube edits
- Excellent spoken and written English comprehension
- Adobe Premiere Pro experience
- After Effects experience is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable work-from-home setup
- Reliable internet connection
- Good communication and time management
- Ability to work independently
- Based in the Philippines
- Wise account, or willingness to create one for payment
Salary and benefits

- Starting salary: 70,000–90,000 PHP/month, depending on experience and ability

Workload

You’ll usually edit around 1–2 long-form YouTube videos per week, depending on length, complexity and client requirements.

Most videos are between 10–30 minutes.

You may occasionally be asked to create short-form clips, but this is primarily a long-form YouTube editing role.
