We are looking for someone who studied Information Systems or Information and Communication technologies or similar at university to help us find valuable expired websites.
We have developed a pretty good process for doing so and we are looking for a superstar who has the talent to master and maybe even improve our process.

Domain mining is part of the SEO strategy that our company uses. And i can honestly say that it is the most fun aspect of it. If you are a tech savvy person you will probably find a lot of pleasure in this job.
You can see the results of your work very quickly, and as you get better and better at using the tools it can turn into a very intuitive process that almost feels more like an art than science.
Its also a very valuable skill that you can use after this job is finished, because quality expired domains are in high demand.

We are an E-commerce startup that sells Cat Products in over 12 different European countries, you would be part of a small team that does our online marketing. That team consists of people working in our office in Barcelona Spain, as well as remote workers like yourself.

Here is what the typical process looks like
-Create a seed list of old cat related websites
-Use screaming frog SEO to find all the dead links
-Filter the dead links to find expired domains
-Use Majestic SEO to evaluate the quality of those domains
-Use various Python scripts we developed to filter the data you exported from Majestic SEO
-Use different tools and a certain dose of intuition to check whether these domains are Clean or Full of Spam
-Use all that data to create an improved seed list and restart the entire process
