About the Product
Tradio is a SaaS CRM and operations platform built specifically for home service businesses in the United States — HVAC contractors, plumbers, electricians, painters, roofers, landscapers, cleaners, handymen, pest control, pool service, and 16+ other trades.
With Tradio, contractors can capture leads, schedule jobs, send quotes, collect e-signatures, invoice, accept online payments, run automated reminders, and give their clients a branded portal — all from their phone.

Pricing tiers: $39/mo Starter, $129/mo Pro, $249/mo Business.

About This Role
This is the first sales hire for the company. That means two things:

You are the foundation of our sales function. Whatever you build, document, and prove out will become the playbook for every salesperson we hire after you.
There is no team to lean on yet. You will not have a senior rep mentoring you daily, a sales manager reviewing your pipeline, or a marketing team feeding you warm leads. You will report directly to the founder.

This is not a job for someone who needs structure handed to them, scripts to read, or daily check-ins to stay on track. It is a job for someone who sees a blank page as an opportunity, not a problem.

Who We're Looking For
You are the right person for this role if you are:

* Autonomous and self-sufficient. You do not wait to be told what to do. You see what needs to happen and you do it.
* Resourceful and resolutive. When something is missing, broken, or unclear, you figure it out. You research, you test, you adapt. You bring solutions, not problems.
* A self-starter with a builder mindset. You're comfortable building processes from scratch, writing your own outreach scripts, testing your own messaging, and iterating until something works.
* Disciplined without supervision. You manage your own schedule, hit your own activity targets, and hold yourself accountable to results — not hours logged.
* Fluent in professional American English. You will be calling, emailing, and chatting with US-based contractors. Your accent is clear, your writing is sharp, and you sound confident on the phone.
* Persistent and emotionally durable. Cold outreach means rejection. You don't take it personally and you don't lose ---------- ntum after a bad day.
* Tech-comfortable. You can learn a SaaS platform deeply enough to demo it, you're comfortable with CRMs, video calls, LinkedIn, and basic spreadsheets.

Bonus points if you have:

Previous experience selling SaaS to US small businesses
Experience in the home services, trades, or contractor space
A track record of closing your own deals (not just SDR/appointment-setting)


What You'll Own
*You are responsible for the entire sales motion, end to end:
1. Prospecting. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified home service businesses (1–20 employees) in the US. Find them on Google, Yelp, Facebook groups, Google maps, LinkedIn, industry directories — wherever they live.
2. Outreach. Cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn messages, SMS, voicemails. Run multi-channel sequences and iterate based on what works.
3. Qualification & demos. Book discovery calls, run product demos via Zoom, walk prospects through the platform, answer their questions.
4. Closing. Handle objections, send the link to start the trial, follow up through the trial period, and close the sale.
5. Onboarding handoff. Make sure new customers get set up successfully so they stick around past month one.
6. Reporting. Track your activity and your results in a CRM (we'll set this up). Send a short weekly update to the founder with what worked, what didn't, and what you're testing next.


Targets
Month 1: Ramp-up. Learn the product deeply, build prospect lists, start outreach. Target: book 10+ demos, close 4–5 paid customers.
Month 2: 20+ paid customers/month.
Month 3 and beyond: 30–50+ paid customers/month, growing as you refine the playbook.

Commission is uncapped. The better you do, the more you make.

These are starting targets. As you get good, we raise them — and your commission scales with you.
