We are seeking a Licensed Physician based in the Philippines to join our healthcare team in a full-time remote role.
This position is ideal for a clinically strong, detail-oriented physician who can support a busy U.S.-based medical clinic by reviewing medical records, laboratory results, radiology reports, and other clinical documentation.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist our clinical team in managing a large volume of medical reports and patient documentation. The physician will assist in identifying important findings, summarizing relevant clinical information, and helping ensure that reports are reviewed in a timely and organized manner.
A secondary but important part of the role is to provide telemedicine support for our Philippines-based staff members, many of whom work overnight schedules aligned with U.S. clinic hours. The physician should be able to render appropriate telemedicine care within the Philippines and prescribe medications when clinically appropriate and legally permitted under Philippine regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and summarize laboratory reports, radiology/imaging reports, and other clinical documents
2. Identify abnormal, urgent, or clinically significant findings that require provider attention
3. Assist with organizing and reducing clinical documentation backlog
4. Prepare concise clinical summaries for review by U.S.-based medical providers
5. Support chart review, medical documentation, and EMR-related tasks
6. Assist with clinical quality, documentation accuracy, and follow-up tracking
7. Provide telemedicine consultations for Philippines-based staff members as needed
8. Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate and legally permitted under Philippine regulations
9. Collaborate closely with U.S.-based clinical, billing, and administrative teams in a synchronous work environment
Requirements
1. Licensed Physician in the Philippines and in good professional standing
2. Strong clinical judgment and ability to recognize important abnormal findings
3. Comfortable reviewing labs, imaging reports, specialist notes, and medical records
4. Able to provide telemedicine services within the Philippines
5. Able to prescribe medications when clinically appropriate and legally permitted under Philippine regulations
6. Strong written English communication skills
7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
8. Comfortable using EMR/EHR systems and digital documentation platforms
9. Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
10. Able to work full-time on a schedule aligned with a U.S.-based clinic
Preferred Qualifications
1. Prior experience in internal medicine, family medicine, urgent care, occupational health, or telemedicine
2. Experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare teams
3. Familiarity with U.S. medical documentation standards
4. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCC coding, or medical billing documentation
5. Experience reviewing chronic disease management cases, preventive care gaps, and follow-up needs

Compensation
Rate: USD $8–$10 per hour, depending on experience, clinical strength, and fit for the role.
