Overview
MLE, a women's fashion accessories company (
This is a part-time role (~20 hours/week) focused on maintaining smooth day-to-day operations while supporting growth through outreach.
You should be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable following SOPs while also helping improve them over time.
Core Responsibilities (Priority-Based):
1. Customer Support & Operations (High Priority)
-Respond to customer service
-Process returns, refunds, and exchanges
-Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
-File missing mail claims and follow up with carriers (UPS, etc.)
-Schedule carrier pickups and coordinate logistics
2. Ecommerce Management (Shopify + Faire)
-Create and update Shopify product listings
-Upload and maintain Faire product listings
-Update website content (product pages, descriptions, images)
-Ensure listings are accurate and aligned with inventory
-Flag low inventory or discrepancies
3. Outreach & Growth Support (Secondary Priority)
-Research and contact retail partners, PR contacts, and influencers
-Maintain outreach trackers and follow-up sequences
-Assist with influencer outreach campaigns
4. Light Content Support (As Time Allows)
-Schedule and manage organic Instagram posts using a content calendar
5. Reporting & Tracking
Maintain weekly reports on:
-Customer support volume and issues
-Orders, returns, and delivery problems
-Outreach progress (responses, follow-ups)
-Keep trackers and dashboards organized and up to date
6. SOP Documentation & Process Improvement
-Follow existing SOPs for all tasks
-Document workflows and update SOPs over time
-Suggest improvements to increase efficiency
Requirements
-Strong written English communication skills
-Experience with Shopify (required)
-Experience with customer support tools like Gorgias (preferred)
-Highly detail-oriented and organized
-Comfortable handling repetitive operational tasks
-Able to manage time effectively in a part-time role
Nice to Have
-Experience with Faire marketplace
-Experience with influencer or PR outreach
-Basic Canva or content formatting skills
-Ecommerce logistics experience (shipping, returns, claims)
Working Style
-Part-time (~20 hours/week)
-Customer support and operations tasks are the highest priority
-Outreach and content tasks will be handled as time allows
-Must be responsive and reliable
