The Payroll & HR Specialist supports both human resources and finance functions, focusing on payroll processing, billing, financial tracking, and administrative tasks. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, timely processing of payments and invoices, and coordination between HR and finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage client billing, invoicing, recurring charges, and payment tracking; audit invoices prior to month-end
Track and record income, expenses, and credit card transactions; maintain accurate financial records
Support payroll processing, attendance tracking, payslips, and contractor documentation
Assist with budgeting updates and financial reporting
Support end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interview coordination
Maintain candidate records, ensure documentation compliance, and support background checks and references
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access, documentation, and clearances
Track associate performance, engagement, and productivity; provide weekly reports and support performance review cycles
Support internal communications and assist with associate engagement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in HR and/or administrative roles, with a strong focus on accounting functions (remote experience preferred)
Solid background in compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processing, and employee benefits coordination
Proficiency in accounting and HR platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle, or equivalent systems
Skilled in MS Office and Google Workspace, with working knowledge of remote collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, Trello, Asana
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive information
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities; capable of working independently and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Stable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace
