We are a US-based CPA firm providing accounting and income tax services to clients. This is currently a part-time position (15-20 hours per week) with the potential to become a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.
WORK SCHEDULE:
-Part-time: 3-4 hours per day and 5 days per week. You can choose work time between 8am to 6pm Eastern Time.
BENEFITS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Independently manage and execute the entire bookkeeping process in QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
- Own the full A/R cycle, including accurately issuing invoices to clients, managing documentation, and ensuring timely payment recording.
-Reconcile general ledger, journal entries, and bank statements on a monthly basis
-Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
-Prepare annual budget forecasts
-Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
-Ad-hoc projects
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have the ability to independently interact with the clients;
-At least 3 years of experience working as an accountant (preferably in an accounting firm);
-Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
-Must have strong experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel;
-Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables;
-Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills;
-BS degree;
-CPA certification is a plus;
-U.S. tax return preparation experience is a plus.
