JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview
We're a growing Melbourne-based SEO agency looking for a full-time Content Manager to own our entire SEO content production pipeline — from brief creation through to page indexation.

This is NOT a writing role. You're the person who makes sure everything gets done, done right, and done on time. You'll manage copywriters, coordinate with developers and VAs, QA every piece of content before it goes live, handle client approvals, and keep all dashboards updated throughout.

This is a FULL-TIME position (40 hours per week) with long-term growth potential.

Main Responsibilities
-Build SEO content briefs from assigned keywords
-Manage and chase copywriters to hit deadlines
-Coordinate VA initial QA, then complete your own final review
-Handle client approval rounds and manage revision requests
-Brief developers for publishing and review pages before go-live
-Create and validate schema markup (Service, LocalBusiness, Article, FAQ)
-Submit pages for indexation and monitor via Google Search Console
-Keep Asana and all dashboards updated at every stage of the pipeline

What We're Looking For
-Strong written and spoken English — non-negotiable
-Exceptional attention to detail — you'll be QA'ing content daily and nothing should slip through
-Proven experience managing content production for a digital agency (multiple clients simultaneously)
-Strong content editing eye — you'll be reviewing and QA-ing copy daily so you need to know what good writing looks like, even if you're not the one writing it
-Solid understanding of on-page SEO — internal linking, schema, title tags, H1s, meta descriptions
-Hands-on experience with: Surfer SEO, Asana, Google Drive, WordPress, Originality.ai, ZeroGPT, Grammarly, Google Search Console
-Comfortable working with AI-assisted content workflows (Claude AI, ChatGPT)
-Reliable internet connection and computer
-Must have some overlap with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)

What We Offer
-$5–10 USD per hour (40 hours/week = stable monthly income)
-Paid on time, every time (fortnightly or monthly — your choice)
-Direct communication with the agency owner
-Full SOP documentation and training provided
-All tools and access provided
-Long-term stable position with a growing agency

Working Hours
-Full-time: 40 hours per week
-Flexible schedule (we can discuss your preferred hours)
-Must have some overlap with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)

To Apply
-Please start your application with the phrase "BLUE MANAGER" — applications without this will not be considered.
Complete our screening form ( ---------- )
We will only consider the candidates who submit the form.

In your application, please answer:
-How many clients have you managed content production for simultaneously?
-Walk us through a content pipeline you've owned end-to-end — what did you personally own vs. delegate?

Our Hiring Process
-Review of your application
-Screening form (link below) — only candidates who complete this will be considered
-Short content QA test using our actual workflow
-5-minute video call to assess English speaking skills
-15-minute final interview for selected candidates

Important Notes
-This is NOT project-based work — it's a permanent full-time position
-This is NOT a writing role — you manage the pipeline, not the copy
-You do not need years of SEO experience — but you must understand on-page SEO fundamentals
-We provide full SOP documentation, tools, and training
-Looking to hire immediately for the right person

If you're process-driven, detail-obsessed, and thrive in a fast-moving agency environment — we want to hear from you.
