Beauty in the Break is a thriving weekly podcast exploring stories of breaking barriers—both within ourselves and in the world. Hosted by Foster Wilson and Cesar Cardona, we create intimate, real conversations about finding beauty in our most broken
What You'll Do:
Podcast Guest Research & Outreach
- Research relevant podcasts in our niche (personal growth, relationships, creativity, mental health, breaking barriers)
Identify shows where our hosts would be great guests
- Compile podcast contact information and submission guidelines
- Track outreach efforts and responses
Visual Content Creation
- Create YouTube thumbnails using provided Photoshop templates
Transcript Review & Quality Control
- Review automatically-generated episode transcripts for spelling, grammar, and accuracy
Show Notes Creation
- Use AI tools (with guidance) to draft episode show notes
- Submit drafts for host approval before publication
Video Editing for Social Media
- Use DaVinci Resolve to create short social media clips from full episodes
- Tweak and tighten clips
General Administrative Support
- Help maintain organized files and systems
- Assist with scheduling and coordination as needed
- Proactively identify areas where you can support the team
Required Skills:
? Excellent English (written and spoken) - you'll be reviewing transcripts and creating written content
? Adobe Photoshop experience (simple work, nothing too complicated)
? DaVinci Resolve video editing skills (basic skills but needs some editing experience)
? Strong attention to detail - spelling, grammar, and quality matter
? Self-motivated and proactive - you see what needs to be done and do it
? Reliable internet connection and professional work setup
Bonus Skills (Helpful but Not Required):
Experience with podcasting, YouTube, or content creation
Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
Social media marketing knowledge
Graphic design skills beyond templates
