US Construction Estimator - Commercial Painting (Division 9)

We are a US-based commercial paint contractor looking for a dedicated Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to handle our bidding pipeline. We aim to submit at least 10 high-quality commercial bids per month. You will be responsible for the full takeoff process and preparing the final bid summary.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed digital takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu (required).

Review architectural plans, finish schedules, and project specifications (Division 09).

Calculate square footage for walls, ceilings, and linear footage for trim/base.

Identify substrates (drywall, CMU, metal deck) and special coating requirements.

Populate our Excel bid templates with quantities, labor hours, and material costs.

Maintain a "Bid Tracker" to ensure we never miss a deadline.

Requirements:

Preferred Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.

Minimum 2 years experience estimating for US/North American commercial projects.

Expertise in Bluebeam Revu (Tool sets, overlays, and legends).

Strong understanding of "Inclusions/Exclusions" in commercial contracts.

Ability to work [Your Time Zone] hours for at least 3 hours of overlap.
