Remote Social Media Manager / Content Strategist (Eventually Full-time)

Typical schedules may include the following:

This role starts as part-time contract work (a few hours per week) and can grow into a larger role over time.

We’re a fast-growing content + ads agency working with businesses to generate leads through video content and paid ads.

We’re looking for a high-level social media manager who can start with execution and grow into a full Content Strategist role.
MUST HAVE STRONG Understanding of pacing, retention, and visual storytelling.


Role Overview

You will begin by handling content execution and client support, then gradually take on scripting, strategy, and client communication as you prove performance.

This is a long-term role with growth into a lead strategist position.

Responsibilities (Initial)

Manage content revisions with editors
Write captions for short-form videos
Organize and send content to editors
Handle basic client communication (updates, feedback)
Track and report simple performance metrics

Responsibilities (After Growth)
Write high-converting video scripts
Develop content angles and messaging strategies
Manage client communication and feedback loops
Own content performance and iteration

Requirements
Strong English communication (VERY important)
Proven copywriting experience (short-form, ads, or content)
Ability to understand marketing psychology (hooks, attention, conversions)
Organized and detail-oriented
Able to take feedback and improve quickly

Bonus (Highly Preferred)
Experience editing short-form content
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects
