Motion Designer / Video Editor (AI Product Content)

Sugar Rim is looking for a highly skilled motion designer / video editor to create polished, product-forward content for an AI presentation tool.

This is not basic social editing, we’re specifically looking for someone who can transform raw footage and screen recordings into high-production, visually compelling product content that makes the AI feel fast, intuitive, and powerful on short-form and long-from content

What You’ll Do
Edit 15–60 second videos for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Create high-fidelity motion graphics in After Effects (UI animation, product callouts, transitions)
Composite screen recordings into real-world footage (e.g., placing product UI onto a laptop screen)
Use motion to clearly communicate product value (prompt ? output, before ? after, etc.)
Design clean, intentional typography (not default captions)
Balance performance-driven pacing with premium visual execution
Deliver across formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)

What We’re Looking For
Strong proficiency in After Effects (required) — this is motion-first, not just cutting clips
Experience with Premiere Pro or similar editing tools

Ability to:
Motion track and composite screens into footage
Animate UI in a way that feels natural and polished
Portfolio that shows:
Product/UI-driven content (apps, SaaS, AI tools)
Clean, modern motion design (not template-heavy)
Strong typography and pacing
Understanding of how to make product content perform on social without sacrificing quality
Reliable communication and turnaround

What This Is Not
This role is not a fit if your work is primarily:
Basic cuts in CapCut or similar tools

Lifestyle/UGC editing without product or UI integration
