Experienced AutoCAD Drafter Needed – Glass & Metal Shop Drawings / Per Project

Drafting company located in US is looking for an experienced AutoCAD drafter based in the Philippines to assist with commercial glass and metal shop drawing projects on a per-project basis.

We prepare shop drawings for subcontractors working on commercial projects, primarily in the New York City market. Experience with NYC construction projects, architectural drawings, or glass and metal systems is a strong plus.

Scope of Work May Include:

Preparing shop drawings for glass doors, storefronts, mirrors, metal frames, partitions, railings, and related architectural glass/metal scopes

Reading architectural drawings, proposals, and project specifications

Creating plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and title sheets

Revising drawings based on comments from architects, general contractors, or clients

Required Skills:

Strong AutoCAD experience

Ability to read and understand architectural/construction drawings

Familiarity with imperial units: inches, feet, fractions, scales

Fluent English communication, written and verbal

Attention to detail and ability to follow drafting standards

Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Experience:

Glass and metal shop drawings

Commercial interior fit-out projects

NYC or U.S.-based construction projects

Experience with Bluebeam, PDF markups, and architectural submittals
