JOB OVERVIEW

Who We Are and What This Role Actually Is

Elya Consulting, also known as The Digital Doula, is a done-for-you systems agency founded by Anabelle Elya. We build the back-end tech infrastructure that lets purpose-driven businesses run cleanly and grow without chaos. Our clients come to us because they have a vision for how their business should work and no idea how to make GoHighLevel do it. That is where you come in.

This role is not a support ticket queue. It is not a list of tasks you check off and hand back. We are looking for someone who reads a client brief about a custom healing plan generator or a CBD storefront or a bot-driven intake funnel and immediately starts thinking about how to architect it, what might break, and how to make it better than what the client imagined. The best version of this person does not wait to be told what to do next. They notice the inefficiency, have a fix in mind, and bring Anabelle a suggestion before the problem becomes a problem.

If you get genuine satisfaction from solving puzzles that have no established answer, building systems that have never been built before, and leaving your work in a cleaner state than you found it, this role was designed for you.

What You Will Own

You will be responsible for the end-to-end build quality of client systems inside GoHighLevel. That means you do not just connect the pieces, you understand why they connect, and you catch it when something downstream is going to fail before it does.

You will own the architecture and implementation of custom funnels, automation workflows, pipeline logic, forms, calendars, course builds, membership areas, and integrations with third-party tools. You will work across a genuinely varied range of clients: wellness practitioners, course creators, e-commerce operators, service providers, and more. No two builds look the same.

You will be the person who flags when a client's request has a better solution than the one they described. You will bring those ideas to Anabelle clearly and concisely, with your reasoning, and you will be trusted to implement them once aligned. Over time, you will also help document systems and improve how we hand things off internally.

What We Are Looking For

On the technical side: you need to be genuinely fluent in GoHighLevel. That means pipelines, automation workflows, forms and surveys, funnel builders, calendars, email and SMS sequences, course and membership tools, and connecting GHL to external platforms via Zapier, Make, or native integrations. You should be comfortable working without a tutorial for most of what you do.

On the thinking side: we need someone who reads ambiguous instructions and extracts clarity rather than asking for more hand-holding. Someone who encounters a broken automation and works backward through the logic to find the actual root cause, not just the symptom. Someone who, when they finish a build, asks themselves whether it is as good as it could be and actually acts on the answer.

You should be organized enough to manage multiple client projects without things slipping, and communicative enough that Anabelle always knows where things stand. You do not need to be loud about your ideas, but you do need to have them and share them.

Experience with any of the following is a genuine plus: Kajabi, Teachable, Shopify, Zapier, Make, ActiveCampaign, Stripe, or building for health and wellness clients.

AI Knowledge Is Required, Not a Bonus

This agency runs on the intersection of smart systems and human-centered delivery. We use AI tools actively to improve client workflows, generate assets, automate research, build smarter funnels, and find efficiencies that free up our clients' time. We are not looking for someone who has experimented with ChatGPT once. We are looking for someone who follows the space, tests tools before they are mainstream, and already has opinions about what works and what does not.

You should be able to look at a client process and identify where an AI layer would genuinely improve it, then build or integrate that layer. You should be comfortable working with AI-assisted content, prompt engineering for repeatable outputs, and automation tools that incorporate AI decision-making. If you are the kind of person who finds a new tool on a Tuesday and has already tested three use cases by Thursday, that is exactly the energy we are looking for.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a slow-paced role where you work through a tidy backlog one ticket at a time. Client projects move quickly, scope shifts, and sometimes the right solution only becomes clear once you are halfway through building the wrong one. You need to be comfortable with that rhythm and good at reorienting without spinning out.

This is also not a role where you can stay quiet when something is not working. If you see a better way, we expect you to say so. If you are stuck, we expect you to say so early, not after the deadline. Passive execution is not what we are hiring for.

This is a remote, async-first role. You will need to manage your own time and output without someone checking in on you daily. That is a feature, not a bug, for the right person.

How to Apply

Submit a Loom video under three minutes walking us through a real GoHighLevel build you have worked on. Show something you actually built: a workflow, a funnel, a course setup, a complex automation. Tell us what problem it solved and what decision-making went into it. If there is something you would do differently now, tell us that too.

Written applications submitted without a Loom video will not be reviewed.

Compensation

$10/hr USD depending on experience
