ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented and results-driven Social Media Specialist to take full ownership of the brand account across Instagram and TikTok building a genuine community, and producing content that performs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and manage the brand's Instagram and TikTok accounts end-to-end
Develop and execute a monthly content calendar tailored to each platform's format and audience behavior
Create high-quality content including Reels, TikTok videos, Stories, carousels, and static posts from concept to publish
Write compelling captions, hooks, and calls-to-action optimized for each platform
Grow followers organically through consistent posting, trend-jacking, hashtag strategy, and engagement tactics
Actively engage with the community, respond to comments and DMs, interact with followers, and build relationships
Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, saves, shares, video watch time) and adjust strategy accordingly
Stay on top of Instagram and TikTok algorithm updates, trending sounds, formats, and content styles
Research competitors and identify content opportunities and gaps
Deliver weekly or monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations

REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of proven experience managing and growing Instagram and/or TikTok accounts
Portfolio or case studies showing tangible follower growth and engagement results
Strong short-form video creation and editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
Good eye for aesthetics — on-screen text, transitions, pacing, thumbnails, and feed look
Solid understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, content formats, and trending mechanics
Strong copywriting skills — punchy hooks, engaging captions, effective CTAs
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Highly organized — able to plan content in advance and meet deadlines consistently

NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Instagram and TikTok paid ads / boosting
On-camera confidence for talking-head or UGC-style content
Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe)
Familiarity with social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics)
