Senior Direct-Response Video & AI Editor (Top 1% Talent Only)

I run a fast-growing D2C health and wellness brand in the fungus niche. I am looking for a top-tier video editor who understands consumer psychology, retention, and how to build high-converting direct-response creatives for social platforms.

You will not be coming up with the core concepts. You will be provided with a proven script, an example video (from a competitor or organic TikTok), and detailed editing notes. Your job is to take those assets, source the right visuals, utilize advanced AI generation tools, and assemble creatives that perform.

What You Will Do (10-20 Ads Per Week):
Ad formats will vary. Some will be standard UGC-style edits, while others will heavily rely on AI generation. You need to be highly adaptable and comfortable with the following:

Asset Collection: Sourcing clean, relevant B-roll and watermark-free UGC.

AI Character Generation & Animation: Generating highly realistic AI characters (doctors, regular consumers, etc.) using tools like Higgsfield Soul 2.0, Nano Banana, or ChatGPT. You will then animate them and sync audio using Kling 3.0 and HeyGen.

3D Visuals: Creating and animating hyper-realistic 3D macro illustrations for B-roll to visualize how the product works beneath the surface.

Editing & Assembly: Combining all assets in CapCut with precision pacing. You will add subtle SFX, auto-generate and refine captions, and layer B-roll effectively.

Aggressive Hook Testing: For every core ad body you build, you will create multiple hook variations (e.g., split screens, close-ups, varying AI characters) to maximize our testing pipeline.

What We Offer:

All Tools Provided: The business will pay for all necessary premium subscriptions (Kling, HeyGen, ChatGPT Plus, Nano Banana, etc.).

Flexible Schedule: I am based in Australia, but I do not care what timezone you work in or when you log on, as long as the weekly volume and deadlines are met.

Professional Growth: We will have weekly calls to break down ad performance, analyze the data on what is winning, and continuously sharpen your direct-response skills.

Aggressive Bonuses ($2,500 - $3,500+ USD/Month OTE):
You will receive a base salary of $1,500 USD/month, plus a $75 USD bonus for every "winning" ad and a $250 USD bonus for every "mega-winning" ad you produce.

The Math: We push a high volume of creatives (40-80 per month). We expect 15-25% of the ads you edit to be winners. If you are hitting those benchmarks, your monthly bonuses will easily add $1,000 to $2,000+ on top of your base. Your earning potential is uncapped—if you build creatives that scale, you get paid for it.

Requirements:

Elite-level proficiency in CapCut.

Strong familiarity with AI generation and animation tools (Kling, HeyGen, Higgsfield, Nano Banana, Midjourney).

A deep understanding of direct-response pacing (pattern interrupts, hook retention, consumer psychology).

The Hiring Process:
After reviewing portfolios, the top candidates will be given a paid test. You will be provided with assets and a script to complete 1x video. This allows us to see your pacing, AI generation skills, and turnaround time in a real-world scenario.
