Senior Print on Demand Designer — Long-Term Position with Growth Path (Kittl + Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop)

About This Position
I am building a serious, long-term Print on Demand business on Amazon Merch and looking for one Senior Designer to grow with me over the next several years. This is not a quick gig. Currently I have 13.000 Design slots free. I want to find the right person and build a real working relationship — with stable income, performance bonuses, and growing responsibility over time.

Compensation Structure:
Base Salary: $500-1.200 USD/month (depending on experience and Design volume / We will talk about everything before hiring)

Performance Bonuses:
Sales Bonus:
For every design, what sales the first time, you will get 1$ Bonus.
For every design that generates 5+ sales/month on Amazon, you receive an additional bonus.
Top-performing designs can significantly boost monthly income.

Quarterly Performance Bonus:
Based on overall output quality and consistency, paid every 3 months

13th Month Bonus:
Standard Philippine practice, paid every December after 1 year of consistent work

Why hybrid pay? Your base salary is stable so you can plan your life. The bonuses reward you for designs that actually sell — meaning when I make money, you make more money. Aligned incentives.

Payment: Monthly // would be nice that you create a EUR account, but we can talk about that.

Phase Structure (Important — Please Read)
This position grows in stages:
Phase 1 — Paid Test (Week 1): 5 paid test designs based on real briefings from my catalog. This tests your skill, briefing comprehension, and communication style.

Phase 2 — 1-Month Trial (Month 1): Full base salary. We learn each other's working style. Daily communication, weekly check-in calls (15- ---------- min via Skype/Zoom).

Phase 3 — Ramp-Up (Month 2-3): Volume increases. Sales bonus structure activates. You start seeing additional income from your best designs.

Phase 4 — Long-Term (Month 4+): Full integration into my pipeline. Volume calibrated to what we both find sustainable. Quarterly bonus active. This is the position you stay in for years.


What You'll Do

Create high-quality t-shirt designs based on detailed niche research I provide
Work with both Kittl and Adobe Illustrator depending on project requirements
Cover multiple design styles confidently:

Typography and text-based designs (wordplay, slogans)
Vector illustrations with multiple elements
Vintage and retro aesthetics (sunsets, distressed effects, mid-century)
Modern and minimalistic designs
Also KI expierence important


Follow Amazon Merch technical specifications (4500×5400px, 300DPI, transparent background, color requirements for light AND dark shirt versions)
Communicate proactively when briefings are unclear or you spot potential issues
Apply revisions promptly (max 2 revision rounds expected per design)

Requirements
Must have:

5+ years professional graphic design experience
Strong proficiency in both Kittl AND Adobe Illustrator (please specify your experience level with each in your application)
Proven Print on Demand experience (Amazon Merch, Etsy, Redbubble, or similar)
Portfolio showing diverse design styles — typography, vector illustrations, vintage, modern
Solid English communication (written, doesn't need to be perfect)
Ability to deliver consistently every working day
Independent problem-solver — you don't need micromanagement
Reliable internet and ability to use Google Drive/Dropbox for file delivery

Will be a strong plus:

Experience with US market would be great
Typography specialization
Vintage/retro design style mastery
Understanding of which design types convert on Amazon Merch
Experience using AI tools (Midjourney, etc.) as part of a manual design workflow (not as replacement)

Will NOT work for me:

Designers who copy from Pinterest, Etsy, or competitor stores (instant trademark and account-suspension risk)
Designers who use AI generators as the primary tool without significant manual editing
Designers managing many clients who treat my work as low priority
Junior or mid-level designers — this position is specifically for senior level
