JOB OVERVIEW

We are building Passive Home Lab, a faceless YouTube channel in the sustainable home solutions, off-grid living, and low-tech innovation niche. Our content covers topics like ancient building techniques, DIY home cooling and heating systems, natural energy solutions, and survival-proof home designs — think: "This $100 Solar System Outperforms a $3,000 Panel" or "The 3,000-Year-Old Heating Trick That Cuts Your Bills by 70%."

Our reference channel is Wild Line ---------- study their content, pacing, and visual style thoroughly before applying. We aim to match and eventually exceed their production quality.

What We Provide

? Full written script

? Professional voiceover (recorded and ready to use)

All we need from you is the editing.

Your Responsibilities

Edit 10–16 minute videos to a high-retention standard — punchy pacing, strong hooks, no dead air, constant pattern interrupts to keep viewers engaged

Source original, high-quality stock footage and AI-generated visuals relevant to sustainable homes, nature, off-grid builds, and ancient history — zero recycled, reused, or inauthentic content

Use AI tools smartly and responsibly (for visuals, enhancement, B-roll generation) — not lazy AI filler that looks cheap or gets flagged

Add smooth, cinematic transitions and motion graphics that feel dynamic and educational

Include engaging on-screen text, callouts, and lower thirds that reinforce key points

Select and layer royalty-free, non-copyrighted background music that matches the tone (calm, curious, epic where needed)

Maintain a consistent visual identity inspired by Wild Line across all videos

Deliver clean, YouTube-ready exports (1080p or 4K, correct format and specs)

You Are the Right Fit If You:

Have proven experience editing faceless documentary-style or educational YouTube videos

Deeply understand viewer retention mechanics — hooks, pacing, visual variety, and pattern interrupts

Know how to source and use footage legally and originally — no content farm recycling

Are fluent in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar professional tools

Are reliable, proactive, and quality-obsessed — this is a long-term partnership, not a one-off job

Can consistently meet deadlines
