PixelStorm is looking for a mid to senior Front End WordPress developer with skills in PHP, HTML & CSS, SASS, Javascript, GItHub, ACF & WordPress.

We are looking to add a team member who is interested in becoming an active part of the team for long term growth.

Monthly tasks include:

Install & customisation of premium WordPress Child Themes from start to deployment
Custom Theme development using Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
Editing code base of existing websites and web applications in a local environment
ACF editing, creation, troubleshooting & testing
GitHub Repository Management
Website maintenance, updates, code edits and manual testing
Migrating websites to new hosting and live
Writing Javascript

Weekly tasks include:

Creation of pixel perfect websites based off a provided Sketch or Photoshop file
Setup development server environment
Build & apply custom functionality requirements
Actioning client website update requests in a timely manner
Team video progress and planning sessions
One on one sessions with lead developer
Testing websites in Browserstack
Formatting & styling content
Website debugging and Q/A

Daily tasks include:

Slack and Skype morning meetings
End of day updates & progress reports
Asana Management
Time tracking using Harvest

Preferred expert knowledge of:

Confident in coding with SASS for HTML/CSS
PHP7: Expert. Able to read, understand and create clean, reusable code. OOP proficient.
WordPress ACF & Custom Theme Development
Responsive Website Creation & Testing
Strong JavaScript coding skills.
Website Deployment
Experience in web hosting performance & host troubleshooting
Extensive knowledge of W3C standards
Required experience: 4+ years full time web developer.


Nice to have:

Rest API knowledge
Previous experience with creation of Custom WordPress Themes
Custom WooCommerce theme creation experience

Suitable candidate should be able to work 40 hours a week, join scheduled VoiP meetings and keep up with given deadlines.
