JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities

The Dispatcher / Bidder will be responsible for:

Creating and managing work orders
Monitoring bidding platforms and submitting bids
Checking job platforms every 3–4 hours after normal business hours
Communicating with technicians in the field
Communicating with office staff and management
Coordinating job details, schedules, updates, and customer information
Making sure technicians receive accurate work order information
Updating job status as work progresses
Following up on submitted bids and awarded jobs
Helping keep service calls organized from start to finish
Requirements

The ideal candidate must be:

Reliable and responsive
Available when technicians are working in the field
Comfortable checking platforms after hours
Good at communication by phone, text, and email
Organized and detail-oriented
Able to work independently
Comfortable using computers, online platforms, and work order systems
Able to communicate clearly with technicians, staff, and customers
Willing to learn our bidding process and service workflow

Experience with dispatching, service companies, security systems, access control, cameras, low-voltage work, or construction/service scheduling is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
