JOB OVERVIEW

Amazon Research & Category Analyst


We’re looking for a data-driven and strategic Amazon Research & Category Analyst to help us identify winning products and scale our Amazon business.

This role goes beyond basic research—you will directly influence product decisions, launches, and revenue growth.

???? Role Overview

Your main goal is to identify high-potential product opportunities and turn them into profitable Amazon listings through deep research and analysis.

You will work closely with our Amazon Manager, CEO, and Product Development team to support category growth and expansion.

???? Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Keyword Research

Identify high-volume, low-competition keywords
Analyze search trends, seasonality, and demand
Build keyword strategies for new and existing products

2. Product Research & Validation

Find winning product opportunities based on data (demand, margins, trends)
Analyze product-market fit (TCG, collectibles, accessories)
Validate ideas before development

3. Competitor Analysis

Analyze top-performing ASINs (pricing, reviews, positioning, content)
Identify gaps and opportunities in the market
Benchmark against competitors

4. Category & Listing Optimization

Support category ranking and positioning strategies
Optimize listings (titles, bullet points, backend keywords)
Maintain catalog accuracy (images, variations, product data)

5. Product Opportunity Analysis

Review internal product lists and recommend improvements
Evaluate new ideas from the product team
Support product launches with data-backed insights

Requirements
Proven experience in Amazon product research / analysis
Strong understanding of Amazon SEO and ranking factors
Experience with tools like Helium 10, DataDive, Jungle Scout
Highly analytical and detail-oriented
Able to turn data into clear, actionable strategies
Experience in TCG / collectibles / hobby niche is a plus
