Position Summary:
The Project Manager & Healthcare Data Specialist is responsible for overseeing healthcare application systems while managing data tracking, reporting, and compliance processes. This role bridges operations, technology, and data to ensure efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Systems Management
Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of healthcare applications (e.g., EHR/EMR systems, compliance platforms, scheduling systems)
Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and system rollouts
Serve as the primary liaison between clinical, administrative, compliance, and IT teams
Coordinate with external vendors and system providers
Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement system-based solutions
Data Tracking & Reporting
Maintain accurate tracking of client, employee, and operational data
Develop and manage data tracking tools (e.g., spreadsheets, dashboards, databases)
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate routine reports for leadership
Identify trends, gaps, and discrepancies and provide actionable insights
Ensure all documentation is organized, up-to-date, and audit-ready
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure systems and data processes align with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, state licensing such as 245D and assisted living requirements)
Support internal and external audits by preparing and validating required documentation
Monitor staff and client file compliance, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Collaborate with leadership to maintain and improve policies and procedures
Training & Support
Provide onboarding and ongoing training to staff on healthcare applications and data processes
Create user guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Offer technical and workflow support to improve team efficiency
